How to join
Membership for insurance regulators/supervisors
Insurance regulators/supervisors can apply for IAIS membership and become active in its activities.
As an IAIS Member, you would have the following benefits:

- the opportunity to become involved in the official consultation process for the development of new insurance supervisory standards, principles and guidance papers
- participate in various IAIS seminars and conferences which help to establish better communication and cooperation among supervisors
- the possibility to become an active member of IAIS working parties
- receive all information and documentation distributed to members
- receive immediate notification when the IAIS issues a press release
- have access to the restricted area of the website,
- have access to the Core Curriculum for insurance supervisors.
Observership for those other than insurance regulators/supervisors
Observership of the IAIS is open to all those who are not regulators or supervisors but who are interested in contributing to the work of the IAIS, for example insurance companies, insurance brokers or accounting firms.
As an IAIS Observers you would have the following benefits:

- be involved in the official consultation procedure for IAIS insurance standards and to make comments on draft IAIS standards
- participate in IAIS seminars and conferences
- receive all information and documentation distributed to observers
- have access to the observer area of the IAIS website
