Gustavo Caldas

Gustavo Caldas has a solid background in and knowledge of the insurance market, based on 30 years of experience in various insurance areas, 18 of which as a broker and consultant and 11 with the Brazilian insurance supervisor, SUSEP.

Gustavo holds degrees in Law and Engineering, with MBAs in Public Law and in Risk Management, and an ALARYS accreditation as AIRM. He has worked as instructor and lecturer of risk and insurance-related matters at agent certification courses and university undergraduate- and graduate-level courses. He is also a skilled translator of risk and insurance-related books and technical texts (English-Portuguese and Spanish-Portuguese).

He has been working in International Relations at SUSEP for 12 years.
