Dilek Sakallıoğlu
Vice Chairperson, Turkish Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority
Dilek Sakallıoğlu is the Vise Chairperson of the Turkish Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority.
Dilek, who started her career in 2005 as an insurance supervisor at the Insurance Supervision Board of the Republic of Türkiye Undersecretariat of Treasury, took part in many supervisions related to capital adequacy, internal systems, information technologies, complaints and company establishments in the Turkish insurance and private pension sector. She participated in many meetings and seminars in the field of insurance and private pensions in Türkiye and abroad.
She completed her training with a certificate by participating in the training program organized by the Global Financial Partnership Center in Tokyo in the period of October – December 2017. In December 2017, she completed the training on Current Macroeconomic Policies in the Global Economy organized by Japan Keio University and Asian Development Bank Institute and received a certificate.
She took managerial positions in the Insurance Supervision Board affiliated to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance between 2018 and 2020.
After the establishment of the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority (IPRSA) in Türkiye in 2020, in IPRSA, she served as the Head of the Non-Life Supervision Department between November 2020 – March 2021, and Head of the Strategy Development Department between March 2021 – November 2022. She has been serving as the Vise Chairperson of IPRSA since November 2022. Sectoral Risk Assessment, Strategy Development and Information Technologies and Data Management Departments are subordinate to her.
Dilek graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 2004, and received a master’s degree in Business Administration from the City University of New York in the United States between 2013 and 2015 with a government scholarship.
