The global insurance industry is faced with a number of emerging and accelerating trends, such as climate change and cyber risk. Supervisors should have the tools to assess them and their potential impact on policyholder protection and financial stability. The IAIS is keen to support insurance supervisors by providing a platform for information exchange and developing guidance on good supervisory practice.
